3.1 Session Monitoring. E Closet monitors user sessions in real-time and post-session, including:
Session monitoring allows E Closet to detect and prevent fraud, unauthorized access, and account abuse; protect users, owners, and the Platform from malicious activity; investigate reported incidents and policy violations; and enforce compliance with Terms of Service and applicable law.
3.2 Message and Communication Monitoring. E Closet is authorized to monitor, record, and review all communications on the Platform, including user-to-user messages, emails, support tickets, reviews, and any other communications for safety, compliance, and marketplace integrity purposes. This includes automated scanning and manual review of message text, attachments/photos/media, communication metadata, and communication patterns.
Message monitoring allows E Closet to detect and prevent harassment, threats, abuse, discrimination, and illegal activity; identify attempts to circumvent Platform protections or facilitate off-platform transactions; prevent scams, fraud, and financial crimes; protect minors from exploitation and grooming; investigate complaints and disputes between users; and enforce Terms of Service and Platform policies.
No Expectation of Privacy. By using the Platform, you acknowledge and agree that you have no reasonable expectation of privacy in your communications or session activity on the Platform. All communications and sessions are subject to monitoring, recording, and review by E Closet and its designated personnel.
4.1 Transactional Messages Only. By providing your mobile phone number, you expressly consent to receive automated and non-automated text messages from E Closet. Messages may include account verification and security alerts, order confirmations and transaction updates, shipping tracking and delivery notifications, rental reminders and return deadlines, payment status and payout notifications, and customer support responses.
4.2 No Marketing Messages. E Closet does not send marketing or promotional text messages at this time. Consent to SMS is not a condition of account creation or use of the Platform.
4.3 Message Frequency and Costs. Message frequency varies based on your account activity. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier's plan. E Closet is not responsible for carrier charges.
4.4 Opt-Out Instructions. You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any text message, replying HELP for assistance, or contacting customersupport@eclosetapp.com. After opting out, you may receive one final confirmation message. Opting out of SMS may affect your ability to receive critical account and transaction notifications.
5.1 With Other Users. To facilitate rentals and purchases, we share limited information with other users as necessary, including shipping name and address, user profile name/photo/verification status, and ratings and reviews.
5.2 With Service Providers. We share information with trusted third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, including payment processors (Stripe, Braintree, Venmo, Coinflow), payout providers and financial institutions, shipping and logistics providers (EasyPost, UPS, USPS), cloud hosting and data storage providers, identity verification and KYC vendors, sanctions screening providers, email/SMS/communication service providers, and analytics and customer support platforms. These service providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only for purposes specified in their agreements with us.
5.3 Mobile Number and SMS Data — No Third-Party Sharing. CRITICAL: Your mobile phone number and SMS opt-in consent data will NEVER be shared, sold, rented, or disclosed to any third party, affiliate, or marketing partner for any reason whatsoever. This data is used exclusively by E Closet to deliver transactional SMS messages and is not accessible to external parties.
5.4 Legal Requirements and Law Enforcement. We may disclose information if required by law, court order, subpoena, regulatory authority, or law enforcement. We will provide notice of such disclosure to the extent permitted by law.
5.5 Business Transfers. If E Closet is acquired, merged, or undergoes a substantial change in control, your information may be transferred as part of that business transaction. We will provide notice of any such change.

The Platform is not intended for individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child under 16, we will delete such information promptly.
We implement reasonable technical, physical, and administrative safeguards to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, no security measure is impenetrable. We are not responsible for unauthorized access caused by security breaches beyond our reasonable control.
